In the final phase of the processing of many types of cured hams and shoulders, it is traditional to apply a layer of lard. This is done for different reasons: to eliminate the proliferation of acarus, to reduce the tendency of the product to dry out excessively, to avoid the growth of mildew and finally, to give the product a brighter and more attractive presentation. Our machine for applying lard or other types of coatings on hams and sausages offers the possibility of performing this task in a reliable and simple way.
The manual application of melted lard in certain products is a laborious operation if the temperature at which this operation is carried out is not maintained. For this reason, this machine has heating equipment to control the temperature and a mixer in the lard tank, in this way we get an uniform and constant temperature. The machine incorporates an internal compressor and wheels, which makes it very practical to work anywhere without depending on air inlets. Finally, the pistol sprays the lard in order to apply a completely uniform layer on the ham.
