PND Corer – slicing cutter
for apple, pear and peach - DRR

Machine capable of coring and cutting apples, pears and peaches into slices.

CORING-SLICING MACHINE MOD. DRR

The machine is able to core and cut apple and peach in slices/rings. The structure consists of welded tubular frame and is on wheels (with brake) for easy movement. If desired, adjustable feet may be used in place of the wheels. The machine consists of various synchronized mechanisms.

Firstly, it has a rotating plate with eight work stations for the fruit, which moves gradually to allow the operator to load the fruits two by two into the corresponding spaces. The second mechanism, driven by a pneumatic piston, consists of a structure that moves vertically and enables the rotation of two tubes through an electric motor. The corer tubes are interchangeable according on the requirements. Another mechanism, also moving vertically by means of a pneumatic piston, includes plungers that push the fruits through membranes, allowing them to pass on special steel shafts which support the fruit. The last step is the round cutter, located below the rotating plate. From the tubes, the fruits is gravity fed down the shaft and comes into contact with the blades of the turntable, cutting the fruit into slices and rings. The plate rotates at intervals and at the speed chosen by the customer. When the plate stops, the three work operations take place at the same time: the operator loads the fruit and the two mechanisms perform the coring and cutting operations.

The machine is equipped with a stainless steel electrical panel that includes a PLC and a frequency converter to ensure synchronization of operations.

Additional features include:

  • Slide for waste made of stainless steel
  • Conveyor belt/elevator for the cut product
