VERINOX Automatic food packaging extraction tunnel
for meats and sausages - TNPP

Automatic system for removing the bag and/or skin with surface cleaning of cooked and raw products in a semi-continuous solution.

AUTOMATIC TUNNEL FOR REMOVAL OF FOOD PACKAGING MOD. TNPP

The tunnel for sanitizing food and removing packages or skins features a stainless steel structure and a steel mesh conveyor belt, with the ability to adjust its speed.

In the preheating zone, special attention has been paid to ensure uniform distribution of steam on all surfaces of the product and efficient extraction of used steam through an upper cowling and an electric fan.

The bag cutting operation is carried out by rotating blades mounted on adjustable arms, carefully designed to achieve maximum precision and to return the product to the operator for manual removal.

Likewise, the belt has an automatic water washing system to keep it clean in optimal conditions.

The process begins when the product is placed on the belt and enters the tunnel, where the package is heated externally, thus facilitating the separation of the bag or skin. Upon exiting the tunnel, an automatic blade makes a horizontal cut on the bag to then be manipulated by the operator.

Continuing on the belt after removal, the product enters the second part of the tunnel. Here, a series of steam jets removes gelatin from the surface and sanitizes the product. This process guarantees optimal cleaning of the product with minimal exposure to air or other possible contaminated agents. Subsequently, the product can be sent directly to the packaging line.

The TNPP tunnel represents an innovative solution for the automatic unpacking and surface cleaning of raw and cooked products through a semi-continuous process. This machinery addresses common problems in production, such as unpacking and sanitizing products.

The incorporation of this system within the production compartment brings several benefits:

  • Automatic removal of the bag or skin
  • Reduce labour and processing times
  • Sanitization and reduction of the superficial bacterial load of the product
  • Availability of a clean product before the packaging process
  • Increase in productivity
