After deboning a cured ham or shoulder, the shaping of the piece is necessary. Our exclusive pressing system performs a cyclical massaging and pressing in two dimensions, essential to achieve a better product, providing a homogeneous presentation and finish. Our range of automatic presses incorporates an automatic unloading system, with a conveyor belt to connect with other processes. The heads contain open type molds, with machined stainless steel box and machined plastic formats, robust and long lasting. The system of interchangeable molds for different formats, without the need of tools, provides great ease in the change of format, as well as great flexibility.

Once the ham is boned, it is placed in the press mould. By simultaneously pressing two pushbuttons, by means of hydraulic operation, the rear cylinder that closes the mold and the upper cylinder that carries the counter-mold are actuated. This compresses the ham in sequential pressing and stopping cycles, allowing uniform compaction by distributing the work of the successive pressings throughout the piece.

At the end of the process, a pneumatically operated cylinder extracts the product out of the mould, which is collected by the conveyor belt that takes it from the press.
