Industries FAC takes part in FIC Guijuelo 2026 and shares its vision of continuous process improvement

Once again, Industries FAC was present at FIC Guijuelo, the leading meeting point for professionals in the dry-cured ham and meat processing industry.
For us, this trade fair is particularly meaningful. FIC was the first exhibition we attended back in 1988, and since then we have continued supporting the evolution of the sector by developing solutions aimed at improving process efficiency, productivity, ergonomics and sustainability.
During the four days of the exhibition, we had the opportunity to reconnect with customers, partners and industry professionals, exchange experiences and gain first-hand insight into the current challenges and needs of the industry.
Participation in Elevator FIC
One of the highlights of this year's edition was Elevator FIC, an initiative created to encourage the exchange of experiences and technical knowledge within the sector.
As part of this programme, our colleague Alfons Zambrano participated together with Juan Luis Rasero, Managing Director of LONCHIBER, in the presentation entitled:
“Continuous Evolution Towards More Efficient Slicing of Dry-Cured Hams and Shoulders”
The presentation showcased a real collaboration developed over more than 15 years between the two companies, demonstrating how the gradual incorporation of new solutions has helped optimise different stages of the production process.
The evolution began with the installation of a two-dimensional press for conventional and rectangular ham and shoulder formats. Over time, the process continued with new three-dimensional pressing solutions, automatic loading and demoulding systems for high-performance ham and shoulder bars, as well as equipment for the removal of the bridge bone and scapula.
Beyond the incorporation of machinery, the presentation highlighted the importance of understanding automation as a continuous improvement process, adapted to the changing needs of each company.
