AUTOMATIC BAG AND CASING REMOVAL TUNNEL MOD. TNPP
As official distributors of Verinox in Spain, we offer their TNPP tunnel, an automatic system designed to solve two common production needs: unpackaging and surface hygienisation of cooked products packed in bags, and casing removal with surface hygienisation of raw sausage products, reducing bacterial load in both cases.
The unit features a stainless steel structure and a steel mesh conveyor belt with adjustable speed. In the preheating zone, uniform steam distribution across the entire surface of the product and effective extraction of used steam — via an upper hood and an electric fan — ensure even treatment.
The product, still in its bag or casing, is loaded onto the belt and enters the first stage of the tunnel, where the packaging is heated externally to facilitate its separation from the product surface. At the exit, an automatic cutter with rotating blades makes a horizontal pre-cut in the bag or casing, which the operator removes manually in the intermediate zone provided between the two tunnel stages. The product then continues to the second stage, where a series of steam jets removes surface gelatine and hygienises the product, ensuring optimal cleaning with minimal exposure to air or other contaminants, before being sent directly to the packaging line.
The belt features an automatic water washing system, and a stainless steel lower tank collects and channels condensate and gelatine to the drain. The power and control panel, housed in a stainless steel enclosure, includes emergency stop buttons and is built in compliance with current regulations.
