Industries FAC celebrates its 40th anniversary and presents new solutions at Alimentaria FoodTech 2026

From 6 to 8 October, Industries FAC participated in Alimentaria FoodTech 2026, held at Fira Barcelona – Gran Via. This was a particularly significant edition for our company, as we presented new solutions for the food industry and celebrated our 40th anniversary alongside customers, partners and friends.

Throughout the three-day event, our stand became a meeting point for exchanging experiences, discussing new projects and showcasing FAC's latest technological developments.

At this year's event, we showcased a range of equipment and solutions designed to optimise production processes, with a particular focus on dry-cured ham processing technology.

One of the highlights was our post-salting line, which combines compressed-air desalting, low-water-consumption washing, shaping and flattening of hams.

We also presented solutions for the deboning, pressing and shaping of cured and fresh semifrozen meat products , alongside equipment from our represented brands NIEROS and STEEN, specialising in industrial hygiene and poultry processing, respectively.

Alimentaria FoodTech 2026 also provided the opportunity to introduce two new developments from Industries FAC, designed to meet the needs of the food industry.

One of the new developments was our system for the automatic loading and unloading of pressing mould racks.

This solution reduces manual handling, makes operators' work easier and enables further automation of production lines.

We also introduced a new machine for removing the bridge bone and scapula, incorporating a circular saw for cutting the hock.

Unlike conventional configurations using a band saw, this new solution helps minimise equipment-related issues, improving operational reliability.

Both developments reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and to designing solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each production process.

Beyond the technological developments, this edition of Alimentaria FoodTech held particular significance for us.

On Wednesday 7 October, we celebrated 40 years of Industries FAC with customers, partners and friends who joined us at our stand.

It was an opportunity to share experiences, reflect on the journey since our beginnings in 1986 and, above all, thank everyone who has been part of our company's history for their trust.

Four decades of technological evolution, shared projects and lasting relationships have enabled us to continue growing and developing solutions for the food industry.

We concluded Alimentaria FoodTech 2026 with new contacts, discussions about future projects and the satisfaction of sharing this edition with so many industry professionals.
